Why Ceilings Get Painted Last (and How to Avoid Roller Marks)
Order of operations matters. Plus the trick to a streak-free ceiling in one cut.

We actually paint ceilings first on new construction and last on repaints — to avoid wall-color overspray. Use flat sheen (hides imperfections), a thick 3/4-inch nap roller, and keep a wet edge. Roll in one direction, don't cross-hatch.
