Flat, Eggshell, Satin, Semi-Gloss, Gloss: Which Goes Where
The right sheen makes a room look intentional. The wrong one makes every flaw visible.

Ceilings: flat (hides imperfections). Bedrooms/living: eggshell (washable, low-glare). Kitchens/baths: satin (moisture-resistant). Trim/doors: semi-gloss (durable, scrubbable). Front doors/cabinetry: high-gloss (furniture-grade). Never use flat in high-traffic hallways — it marks.
