When Stucco Needs Elastomeric (and When It Doesn't)

Use elastomeric when you see hairline cracking under 1/16 inch and the stucco is sound. Skip it on damp walls (it'll blister) and on Mediterranean-style homes where breathability matters — there, use a mineral-silicate paint instead.
