About color consultation

Picking paint colors is the single most stressful part of a repaint — and the easiest place to regret a decision. A certified color designer takes the guesswork out and builds a palette that works across every room, every light condition, and your existing furniture.

Our color consultations are included with every painting quote, but they're also available as a standalone service for DIYers, designers, and homeowners planning ahead.

Pre-visit questionnaire
We send a short questionnaire about your style, existing furniture, and rooms that aren't working.

In-home consultation
A certified color designer walks every room with you, evaluates light, and builds a whole-home palette.

Written palette
You get a written summary with specific paint chips, SKUs, sheen recommendations, and trim/ceiling colors.

One round of revisions
Live with the chips for a week. If anything isn't right, we revise once at no charge.

+Will the consultant push me toward specific brands?

No — we spec the color regardless of brand. If you want to use a different brand than we install, we still color-match it.

+Can I do this remotely?

Yes — virtual consultations are available for $100. We review photos, video walkthroughs, and ship physical chips.

+What if I don't like the recommendations?

One round of revisions is included at no charge. Most clients love the initial palette.

+What's included in the warranty?

Every job carries our 10-year workmanship warranty. If the finish peels, blisters, or cracks within ten years, we return and re-coat the affected area at no charge.

+What paints do you use?

Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Benjamin Moore Aura by default. Zero-VOC alternatives (Natura, Harmony) are available at no upcharge.

+Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — fully licensed in every state we serve, with $2M general liability and workers' comp on every crew.
