Modern farmhouse exterior with white siding and black window frames

About door & window frame painting

A front door is the first thing visitors touch. A factory-grade enamel finish — sprayed, cured, and reinstalled — turns a tired door into a brand-new entry without replacing it.

Our door crews remove front doors, interior doors, and window casings, spray them in our finishing booth, and reinstall them with new weatherstripping. The result is a hard, washable, furniture-grade finish.

What's included

  • Remove door from hinges and transport to spray booth
  • Strip or sand existing finish to a paint-ready profile
  • Fill grain, dings, and dents
  • Two coats of bonding primer
  • Three coats of catalyzed urethane enamel
  • Replace weatherstripping and reinstall
  • Adjust hinges and latch for proper operation

Our process

  1. 1

    Free in-home estimate

A senior estimator walks the project with you, measures the scope, and returns an itemized fixed-price quote — usually within 24 hours.

  2. 2

    Surface prep

We patch, sand, caulk, and prime every surface to the manufacturer's spec. Prep is what makes a finish last — we don't cut it short.

  3. 3

    Premium application

Two finish coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald or Benjamin Moore Aura, applied by master painters using sprayers, brushes, and rollers matched to each surface.

  4. 4

    Walkthrough & warranty

You inspect the finished work alongside the crew lead. Anything you flag gets touched up on the spot — then your 10-year workmanship warranty kicks in.

Why homeowners choose us

Sprayed in a booth

Doors come back with a finish you can't get on-site — no brush marks, no dust, no overspray.

Catalyzed urethane enamel

Same finish system used on luxury front doors. Hard, washable, UV-resistant, and won't yellow.

Reinstalled with new weatherstrip

Front doors come back with fresh weatherstripping for a tight seal — included in the price.

Frequently asked questions

+Will I have a door while it's being painted?

Yes — we install a temporary door (or board up the opening for a few hours) so your home is secure overnight.

+Can you do all the doors in my house?

Yes — most clients bundle interior doors as a package. Volume pricing kicks in around 6 doors.

+What about steel and fiberglass front doors?

Yes — steel and fiberglass take the same catalyzed urethane finish as wood. We adjust prep but the finish is identical.

+What's included in the warranty?

Every job carries our 10-year workmanship warranty. If the finish peels, blisters, or cracks within ten years, we return and re-coat the affected area at no charge.

+What paints do you use?

Sherwin-Williams Emerald and Benjamin Moore Aura by default. Zero-VOC alternatives (Natura, Harmony) are available at no upcharge.

+Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — fully licensed in every state we serve, with $2M general liability and workers' comp on every crew.
